What Is Your Attitude to God's?

Today’s Reading:

Numbers 13:1-2; 27-33

Are you aware of God's desire to fill your life with all that is good? He wishes the best for you. Jeremiah twenty-nine verse eleven says the thought of the Lord towards us are of peace and not of evil.

Though you may not realise it, God has infused your life with purpose and meaning. Think on this.

Isaiah 40:3 says that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Like Paul wrote in Galatians two verse twenty, we should be crucified with Christ; but with all distractions around us, Mr. Flesh tends to control and dominate.

When the twelve spies were sent out to spy out the land of Canaan and they came back with evil report and were fearful for their lives. Doubt, but, lack of faith and trust in God came in. They saw Giants, not the BIGNESS of their God. Only Caleb believed the Lord has gone ahead of them to possess the land.

We find it easy to condemn and say "if it had been us , we would have done it differently ".But unfortunately ,even right now, with global melt down, rumours of war, worldly distractions, our mind still refuse to "BE STILL " and trust God for his mighty power and deeds.

This is a new year, would you rather be like the Israelites that believed "Giants in the land” or be Caleb that chose to stand for the power of God?

Trust in the Lord and in the power of His might. Has He spoken and not do it? He is not a man that He should lie.

Make His words your guide this new year; let it be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. There is reward for obedience, ask Caleb, (Numbers 14: 24). Rewards too for Abraham and Queen Esther. You and your seed shall be rewarded in Jesus name. God bless.
