The Incomprehensible Power

Today’s Reading:

Joshua 3:1-17

At this particular time, when COVID-19 is on the rampage all over the world and this virus has held every part of the world static. In the passage, Joshua led the children of Israel after the demise of Moses; they were still on their way to the Promised Land, but there was an impediment on their part to glory and fulfillment. River Jordan had overflowed.

They were stranded for days until Joshua had to go to God in prayer. For with God, nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). If God had asked Joshua to lead his children to the promised land, then whatever that may be on the way or that they may encounter, He knows about it. So, the sensible option for them is to continue to seek, knock and ask Him every step of the way before making or taking any major step because He gave them other assignment on earth.

Just like Joseph went to God and he was given instruction of what to do to cross over, you should do likewise. Regardless of how long you have been held bound, stagnated, God knows the way out. John 1:12 says “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.” You have to believe to receive. Without faith, no man can please God.

WOLE OTEMADE

Prayer

1. Thank you, Lord, for the word sent to me today that I can receive nothing

from you without faith. Lord, help my unbelief, in Jesus name

2. Father, I approach your throne without double mind; help me to walk in

your instruction to get to my promised land, in Jesus name.

3. Every overflowed River Jordan restricting or slowing down my journey to the

promised land, dry up in Jesus name.

4. As you have shown your power to the Israelites on their way to the

promised land, Lord lead your Nigeria out of backwardness.
