Today’s Reading:

Psalm 7; Amos 3:9-4:5; James 2:1-7

The believer is one who has been bought with a price and is free from any form of bondage associated with sin, the believer has no business dealing with the devil or pleading with the devil for anything. We shouldn't move around with the mind that we are struggling with the devil for anything because from the very first place the price has been paid and there is a sure agreement between the believer and God that sin or its consequences have no power over the believer anymore (John 8:38). Just like the Psalmist in Psalm 7 was boldly talking to God about his challenges, believers should move, act and talk with boldness as one who already has an agreement with God pertaining that situation he or she is faced with. No two people can work together except they agree, so believers should work with this boldness and consciousness that the agreement of safety, provisions, financial breakthrough etc. that they already established with God the day they decide to give their lives to Christ is sure.

What believers should never forget:

  • That God is still in the business of proving Himself in our lives and making sure we don't fail or fault.

  • That God never fails in His promises to His children as the word of the Lord stands sure always.

  • When situations seems as if nothing is working, God's covenant with us is still very much active and believers should not forget to keep trusting as they wait on God.

  • The vision is for an appointed time and no matter how long it takes, they should tarry for the vision must surely come to pass. (Habakkuk 2:2)

  • Believers should not:

  • Stop believing because of how daring the situation seem for God will always come through for us.

  • Stop speaking and confessing the words of God pertaining the situations they are faced with.

  • Get weary cause there is no room for weakness in a battlefield and since the Lord is for us, victory is sure.

  • Praying and praising cause our victory is sure.
