Today’s Reading:
Philippians 3;10
"That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made comfortable unto His death." (v. 10)
Every believer expects to enjoy the power of Jesus Christ, His resurrection and the power to operate in His might. But little do they know that the fellowship of His sufferings is to be experienced before all our desires as Christians in Him can manifest. Beloveth, our sufferings as Christians are not centred on hardship or difficulties of life alone as we always perceive and pray against it. There are other sufferings which we as believers need to endure to enjoy the resurrection of Jesus Christ. More often than not I called them STORMS of life, ranging from money temptation as Jesus against the devil himself, not being favoured, complaints about one from the enemies, being seen but not heard, internal conflict on the account of human attitudes, the storm of damaging rumours and so on.
All these and more are parts of the sufferings of Jesus Christ. Brother Paul, in 2Timothy3vs12"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution”. To be able to enjoy His resurrection power and overcome all these sufferings let us try our best to be like Jesus Christ in all our ways as in John14vs30 "Hereafter, I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh and hath nothing in me" Let there be no place for the devil in our lives, for us not to miss the mark. Holiness within and without should be our watchword.

Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I believe and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. Prayer:
The sufferings of Jesus Christ shall not be a waste in my life in the name of Jesus.
Spirit of worldliness departs from Christian homes in the name of Jesus.
Jesus Christ deliver me from the enemies that are stronger than me in the name of Jesus.
Power to be in right standing with my God locate me now in the name of Jesus.
Power to endure to the end and make heaven locate Christians home now in the name of Jesus.
