Do our unanswered prayer requests prove that God is not all-powerful?
No, it does not. I have unshakable faith in God’s power, and here is why. Ephesians 3:20 says: “Now to Him who by the power at work within us can accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine.”
What do our unanswered prayers have to teach us about our relationship with God?
God has placed the power within each of us to accomplish things that are beyond us. This power is called grace.
Grace needs to be activated. And the activation code is faith in God—a firm belief that God will keep His promises. Abraham is considered to be the father of faith.
Fear is natural, and you will grow afraid when you are not sure what the future holds. God reassures you today: ‘Have no fear, Abram, I am your shield; your reward will be very great’ (Genesis 15:1).
Doubting God’s power and promises is a deal-breaker. When God reassures you of His promises, you ought to put your faith in Him.
God keeps His promises. Nothing is beyond His power, influence, knowledge and grace. The mystery is often “how”: How will God bring it about?
God is our only hope. We limit the power of God’s grace within us when we start considering other options —those things that do not glorify God and can even lead us into trouble.
Be vigilant for the time and way in which God wishes to accomplish His promise to you. Remain in prayer.
Preoccupy yourself with the good things you are doing and bear good fruit. Whatever you try, let it be in line with God’s commands.
The fruits by which people should know you are: charity (or love), joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, long-suffering, gentleness, faith, modesty, self-control and chastity.
Even if God does not grant your heart's desire, remain with God because He knows what is best for us.
God should always be God in your life, even if He does not give you what you are asking for.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! You are welcome to the body of Christ. Prayerfully seek out a living church and meet the resident reverend, pastor, or priest.
Prayer:
Eternal Father, I place my faith and trust in You. Dispel my fear, silence my doubt. Give me the courage to serve You even when I do not see results. Let your righteous will prevail in my life. Amen.
Eternal Father, I trust in You and in Your plans for me. Help me to trust You even through my fears, tears and doubts through Christ our Lord. Amen.
