GOD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL CREATURE- MANKIND

Today’s Reading:

Psalm 139:14

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well. In the above scripture, David is praising God having realised that he is fearfully and wonderfully made. These are two very strong words to describe who we are.

The words evoke awe and wonder. In Genesis 1:26 God said, ‘let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the three realms of creation; the heavens, the earth and the waters.’

We are meant to carry the very nature of God in perfection and beauty. Alas, Satan came and polluted the beautiful thing that God was trying to make and sowed all sorts of wickedness in the heart of man. The result is a far cry from what God intended. But then came in Jesus, to restore the original masterplan in perfection and holiness. That is why God is making two demands on every born-again child of God:

1. Perfection

2. Holiness

The devil has succeeded in making Christians lose focus of what God originally intended for us- to be like Him and exhibit His nature. I tell you; it is a very beautiful realm to get to, perfection and holiness. It makes every other thing in life pale into insignificance. Psalm 82 vs 6 describes us as gods and children of the most High. As Christians, we need to up our game in our relationship with God, and take our rightful place in His kingdom.

Prayer:

1. O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth.

2. I will love You, O Lord, my strength; the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.

3. My Father I thank You for I am wonderfully and fearfully made, in the name of Jesus.

4. God restore to me my rightful place in Your master plan in the name of Jesus

5. God arise and lift me up where no one can bring me down in the name of Jesus

6. Lord restore Your church to its rightful place in the name of Jesus

7. God intervene in our nation in the name of Jesus.
