DOES JESUS KNOW YOU?

The parameters being used to identify to those who are followers of Christ today seems to have change. It is most scary that believers have set their own standards of measurement of faith and Christianity. Christ knew this ahead of time, and there three things He Identified in verse 22 that people will use to characterize themselves as belonging to God. These are: Gift – in your name we prophesy; Power - in your name we cast out devils and Signs – in your name we have done wonderful works.

There are things that people are running after today, both Ministers and members. Ministers want them to retain their members; members are looking for them to maintain their lives. Hear what Apostle Paul said, “Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord know those who are His, “and, “let everyone who bears the name of Christ depart from Iniquity.”

Not minding human standards and definition, the measurement of Christ has not changed and will not – You can decide to make yourself happy by giving false assessment of yourself, it doesn’t matter the judge of all men, God has His check-list and he’s marking you up or down as the case may be. Christ said, he knows His sheep and His sheep know Him. They listen to Him and obey Him (John 10:16). If any lota of disobedience is in your life, you are yet to be known by Christ as member of His fold.

Before it is too late, re –address your priority. Believers were first called” Christians”, not because of riches or power, or signs but because they saw the life of Christ in them.

Are you a worker of iniquity! Depart now from Iniquity before He will tell you to depart from Him that He knows you not! Resolve your identity now.

Prayer:

1. You the strongman standing between me and my destiny, hear the word of the Lord, fall down and die, in Jesus name.

2. Father, release your warrior angels and stern looking patrol security guards on the roads in our nation, in Jesus name.

3. I break the power and the grip of the world upon the souls of men, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

4. Father, let your light penetrate into all dark corners of our nations, in Jesus name.
