Many Christians are unfortunately looking unto God to solve their myriads of problems without asking God what he needs. You will be surprised to learn that God needs a lot from us also. God has enemies otherwise the Psalmist would not have shouted loudly that Let God arise and let his enemies be scattered. As Christians we need to represent God very well anywhere, we are. The Christians were first called that name in Antioch because they were following Christ’s teachings and commandments. They were proclaiming Christ's ’values and visions. It was so easy to recognize them as Christ’s followers.

When you conform to the world contrary to God’s expectation then you are a hypocrite in the house of God. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the food offered to idols and he was vindicated by God. God was so proud of him that he was always backing him . He was thrown into the den of lions, yet he came out unscathed. It was his traducers that ended up being devoured by the lions. Daniel ensured that he kept company with fellow believers. If your attitude is let us do it the way it is done so that I will not be called a fanatic, it means you are not doing what God wants you to do. You must dare to be different. Be ye not conform to the world. Job was tempted to the extreme, yet he did not curse God and eventually God restored him more than he had initially. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah refused to bow down to the image idol and boldly renounced it publicly in the presence of one of the greatest kings that ever lived on earth and were consequently thrown into the fiery furnace and God appeared with them and rescue them and their enemies were thrown into the fire that consumed them and burned them to ashes.

The question we should ask ourselves today as children of God is what are we doing for God? We should start with praises for God to come and inhabit and dine with us. We must worship the Lord in the beauty of his holiness. Evangelism is the heart of God, the more souls we win the better for us as Christians. The mission is to depopulate the kingdom of darkness. Are you faithful in payments of your tithes and offerings? The talent God has given you are you using it to serve God or the World. You must make up your mind today to serve God with all your hearts and for sure he shall multiply you beyond your wildest imaginations.

Prayer:

1. O Lord, our Lord How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens.

2. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork.

3. OH LORD, my Father forgive me for I have been selfish in not recognizing Your needs, in the name of Jesus.

4. OH LORD my Father by Your mercy that cannot be questioned, give me a second chance to do Your will, in the name of Jesus.

5. OH LORD our Father let the anointing to serve You till the end fall upon me and my family now, in the name of Jesus.

6. OH LORD, give the church Your ministers and pastors the power and the hearts to serve You and You only forever and ever, in the name of Jesus.

7. OH LORD as You have been meeting our Nation at the point of our needs teach our leaders the need to acknowledge Your will too and do them, in the name of Jesus.
