Today’s Reading:
Psalm 52
“But I am like a green olive tree growing in God’s temple. I will trust God’s faithful love
forever and ever.” (v. 8)
David faced literal enemies when he wrote this Psalm. The preface to the Psalm informs us that Doeg had just betrayed him to Saul. Yet, even while fleeing for his life, He declares "God's Unfailing Love forever and ever". God’s love is agape love, love without end. It can be established in John 3:16,” for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life”. “. Likewise …while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8.) This love cannot be compared with anything in the whole wide world. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me without measure!
Brethren, no matter the problem you are passing through, put your mind at rest because God's love will outlast them all. God's love will get you through. In all circumstances, you can trust His unfailing, unwavering and never- ending love. David refers to the green olive tree in the House of God which symbolises a healthy and vibrant relationship rooted in the Word. His faith was deeply rooted in God and his choices reflected the trust he had in the loving - kindness of his Heavenly father forever and that trust, even when he didn't understand, is what got him through to the other side of every challenge he faced.
You may be asking a lot of questions due to the challenges you are going through and you think God does not love you, let me say it emphatically that He does. Don’t allow the devil to lie to you that he doesn’t love you. He that gave us His son will he not willingly give us all things? (Matthew 7:7-11.)

Thank you, Jesus, for all you did for me at Calvary, I am eternally grateful, in Jesus name.
I receive grace to appreciate God’s love for me all the days of my life, in Jesus name.
Every negative voice from the pit of hell telling me that God does not love me, I silence you, in Jesus name.
For as many who have backslide due to wrong notion that God hates them, may they be restored today. in Jesus name.
Father, let your unfailing love locate every member of my family that are yet to know you, in Jesus name.
