Transfiguration

Today’s Reading:

Mark 9:2-9

“… Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." vs. 12

This implies a change that exalts or glorifies (according to Webster’s Dictionary & Thesaurus for student). Jesus Christ made a prediction about the Kingdom and the glimpse of his prediction manifested six (6) days later.

On that day, He was with James, John and Peter. The experience was so real but also unbelievable sight. The brightness of his cloths and in whose company Jesus was (Moses and Elijah). Confusingly, the word transfiguration was an understatement of the occurrence.

Heaven stood still to listen in full attention to Jesus’ prayer and also sent representatives to say to Jesus, “You are not alone.” The two visitors were as important to Jesus as it was to Peter, James and John to have witnessed the event. This helped them understand the nature of the heavenly Father’s relationship with his only begotten son.

Basically, for all Christians walking and working in tune with God’s demand and command, means that they are never alone. Whether they can see the hosts of heaven or not; He is always with them. According to his Word, I will never leave you nor forsake you or I will never leave you comfortless.

Likewise, the moment we submit our will to the father, there is a transformation of our personality automatically and then our lives become testimonies to those like James, John and Peter.

WOLE OTEMADE

Prayer:

1. King of glory, use my life to confuse the enemy, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, let it become real that I have met with you, in Jesus name.

3. Let your glory show in my life, home and ministry, in Jesus name.

4. I desire a heavenly visitation to help me know that I am not alone, in Jesus name

5. Show me your power and manifest your glory in Nigeria, in Jesus name.
