Today's Reading:

Ps. 119:11

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."        (Ps. 119:11)

The Word of God is God Himself.  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  By the above declaration, it shows that the Word of God is a Living being that is alive always.  But His being alive is dependent on the way we as believers demonstrate, obey and manifest it in our lives.

When we hide the Word of God in our hearts, a lot of things shall be revealed to us, both in secret and in the open. It is the Word of God that came to Ezekiel in the Bible where he got instruction to prophesy to dead bones to live. The word of God came to Moses to bury the enemies of God in the Red Sea (Egyptians). Even from heaven about Jesus; it was the Word of God that made a declaration about who He is.

The Word of God, according to the book of Job, that cameth to man while he was asleep, that keepeth his soul from the pit. The Word of God brought to existence all that are created. Therefore, let us crave to have an abundance of the Word of God in our lives more than anything else to be able to do His will, fear Him and enjoy the abundant blessings which He has for us.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud:

Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I believe and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart, keep me from all evil, and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank You, Lord!

If you said the above short prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest, as the case may be.

  1. Lord teach me your word in the name of Jesus.

  2. The power in the word of God, settle me now in the name of Jesus

  3. I shall excel in the Word of God in the name of Jesus.

  4. The Word of God shall not stand against us in the name of Jesus.

  5. The Word of God will set us free from any evil in the name of Jesus.
