Today’s Reading:

Galatians 1:6-12

Paul had explained to the Galatian converts that in Christ Jesus we are saved by Grace through faith in His finished work on the cross, and not anything pertaining the Mosaic Law. But the Judaean teachers were denying the all - sufficiency of Christ's atoning work for salvation and were demanding that the Galatian converts be circumcised and observe the Mosaic Law.

Paul confronted the Galatians that think that circumcision was the only way to be a Christian is not the right way to become a Christian. He encourages the Galatians to continue in the Grace that had been preached to them of the Gospel and understanding that the Law and Grace do not mix. They began by faith and their growth in Christ must continue to be by faith not minding another untrue Gospel that is condemned and cursed.

In conclusion, the Gospel is the good news and it is the power of God into salvation to all that
