THE ONLY GOD THAT DOES WONDERS

Today’s Readings:
Psalm 61; 2Kings 5:15-19a; Acts 26:24-29
Signs and wonders only come from Yahweh God who does things that no man can do. Magic is the manipulation of man through the power of Satan with the exchange of something glorious in the life of man. God does not take glory and good fortune away from man before he can do wonders in the life of his adherents unlike the devil who evacuates good things from man by substitute it with bad fortune (that looks good to man). When the work of God is not comprehended by man it becomes miracle – there are numbers of things God does that are super to what man and Satan can do; that is why every request of man must be directed to God who has the power to do beyond human understanding. Man feels dejected and shameful when he looks unto another man for help. If the help is rendered successfully that shifts the attention of a man to the man who rendered the help; but God does it to prove his lordship. He changes the harden heart to serve him, he lifts people up and brings some down – this is to demonstrate his sovereignty.
OLOYEDE SUNDAY OYEDELE
Prayer:
God, do not become tired over my life in Jesus’ name.
God, prove your lordship over my life in Jesus’ name.
God, save lives whose hearts are hardened to the gospel of Christ in Jesus’ name.
God, allow and approve a situation that will turn this nation for good in Jesus’ name.
God, give our leaders wisdom and spirit of administration in order to represent you well in Jesus’ name.
