Today’s Reading:

Psalm 139: 1-6 (NKJV)

  1. O LORD, You have searched me and known me.

  2. You know my sitting down and my rising; You understand my thought afar off.

  3. You comprehend my path and my lying down And are acquainted with all my ways.

  4. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.

  5. You have hedged me behind and before And laid Your hand upon me.

  6. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, and I cannot attain it.

Our bible passage reveals how powerful and awesome our God is. He is the possessor of the whole of creation and has complete knowledge of everything; the past, the present, and the future. He knows everything about us, even every strand of hair on our heads is counted and known by Him (Luke 12: 7A But the very hairs of your head are all numbered). It is noteworthy that we are constantly being watched by this awesome God. (Isaiah 49: 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me). This All-knowing God is to be continually honoured and worshipped with holy fear. Whatever you do and wherever you do, He sees it. (Psalm 139: 12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.). If you are well aligned to this Mighty God, you are sure to have a great TOMORROW because He cares (Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope).

Though He sees and knows all things, He can be far from those who are not His (Proverbs 15: 29 The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.). How do you get close to Him? Surrender your life to Him. He will erase your mistakes of the past and give you a new beginning and a great future. Simply confess your sins to him and ask him to be the Lord of your life. Halleluiah

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud: Father, thank you for Jesus Christ. Forgive my sins, take control of my heart and lead me in your righteous path by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Lord. Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident pastor or priest.

  1. Bless the creator of heaven and the earth. The One who was, who is and He’s to come. Magnify His holy name. Thank Him for all He has been to you and your family.

  2. Prayer of mercy. In any way I have fallen short of your glory, let mercy draw me out. Ask Him to show you mercy in every area of your life.

  3. Father, please reveal more of yourself to me and lead me in the path of righteousness in the name of Jesus.

  4. Father show mercy unto my nation and let peace reign in Jesus’ name.

  5. Let the church of God continue to match on triumphantly in Jesus’ name.
