THE LORD WILL GIVE GRACE AND GLORY

Today's Reading:

Psalm 84:10-12


"For a day in thy Courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of the wickedness. For the LORD GOD is a sun and shield, the LORD will give Grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trust in thee." (vv. 10-12)



The Grace of God, is the unmerited favour which He gives to His children, while the glory is the blue print for the existence of man apart from other things. These are what God gives to His children who are doing His will at all times. Hence the Bible says no good thing will He withhold from those that walk uprightly. Uprightness is the key to reap the grace and glory of God. The issue of righteousness has to do with being in right standing with God, being moral, honest and doing the will of God at all times. We are counselled in Hosea 10 vs12 “To sow to ourselves in righteousness and reap in mercy." Disobedience to live uprightly will bring defeat, sorrow, demotion, make one to be victim to the enemies etc. Therefore, let us endeavour to be upright in what we do so as to be able to reap the mercy of God.

  1. Power challenging God in my life die in the name of Jesus.

  2. Power to overcome unrighteousness locate me afresh in the name of Jesus.

  3. Grace and Glory of God locate me now in the name of Jesus.

  4. Holy Ghost Fire laminate my life in the name of Jesus.

  5. Power of the Living God overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.
