THE FULFILMENT OF THE SCRIPTURE

Today’s Reading:
Luke 4: 16-30.
" And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears." (v. 21, AKJV)

The Scripture is the infallible Word of God. Jesus Christ is the core centre. Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to:
Preach the Gospel to the poor;
He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted,
To Preach deliverance to the captives,
And recovering of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty them that are bruised,
To Preach the acceptable year of the Lord. “
Jesus came for all these and more, so we can be loosed from the shackles of the devil; He came, so we can be loosed from Bondage; Jesus came to set us free from the foundational powers of our fathers’ house. He came, so we need not fret from satanic gimmicks.
He is the Prince of peace, our peace in the time of storm. There is this song I love to sing:
The Lord's our Rock, in Him we hide,
A shelter in the time of storm;
Secure whatever ill betide,
A shelter in the time of storm.
He is our refuge, our fortress, our hiding place, our all in all.
With all that is happening globally, we need him more than ever before. We need to trust him, his Words of promises to us. His word is yea and Amen. He is not a man to disappoint and fail. In fact, He is too faithful to fail. Our Redeemer. Our Saviour. Our defender. Our healer. Until we hand over ALL to Jesus Christ, the devil will happily toss us about with sickness, affliction, troubles, and challenges of this world that would leave us discouraged, hopeless, disillusioned, disappointed, angry, frustrated, and faithless. Though the World is in turmoil, and everywhere, most people are going crazy, but say out loud to yourself that, “I am seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places ... (Eph. 2:6). I am unshakeable, unmovable, standing on the Solid Rock because all other ground is sinking ground.” Jesus has given us power, to tread on serpents and Scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt us. (Luke 10:19).
However, you cannot lay claim on these victories and promises IF you do not have Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Do not procrastinate, tomorrow may be too late. He is coming soon, to take His beloved home. There is no time to waste, please. Invite him into your life and you will not be the same again.
God bless!

Prayer:
I pray for the grace to be obedient and committed to you Lord, in Jesus name.
Increase in me Lord and let the self in me decrease, in Jesus name.
Holy Spirit overshadows my life, in Jesus name.
Father, let there be a revival in the church of God, in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus, let your peace and mercy envelop our nation, in Jesus name.
