Today’s Reading:
Reading: Psalm 34:1-8
“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. “ (Psalm 34:1)
One thing God cannot do for Himself is to praise Himself. We are created by God to praise Him. Praising God invites His presence. David knows the secret of praising. Praises to God gives an immediate solution to our problem. When fear came upon David, he realized that praising God was the solution to strengthen him. V. 4 of the chapter read says, I sought the LORD, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. David sought the LORD through praise, and he was delivered from his fear.
Why did David have fear in his soul? When he was before Abimelech and sent him away, David’s soul never had peace. But when he praised God, his fear disappeared, why? Because God had delivered him from fears. We should learn how to praise God in whatever situation we find ourselves in; God is the only solution to our fear against our enemies.

Prayer point:
Father, teach me how to praise you in any situation I find myself, in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus, let praising you be the food I eat every day, in Jesus name.
My God, give me a weapon of praise, in Jesus name.
Father of praise, let my praise to you attract your presence into my life, in Jesus name.
Father, visit our nation with Your mercy and peace, in Jesus name.
