The Antidote (it’s a neutraliser of snake venom)

Today’s Reading:

Romans 5:12-19

"In the beginning, Adam and Eve happen to be the first set of human being created."

(Gen. 2:18-19).

They were also the first to go against God’s instruction by eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:6-7). God then sought for a way to redeem human race and He gave the laws to Moses in various dimensions: Ten Commandments, Atonement for sin, burnt offering, peace offering, meat offering, sin offering and so on. But after it all, none was good enough to take this guilt away because sin was in the world before the law.

Then, amazing grace was given to all human race through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Creator. He was in the world before sin came. Remember he is the word with which all things were created (John 1:3). And so the enemy of human race was hung on the cross of Calvary. Jesus, the wisdom of God made a public show of the deceiver.

Jesus Christ gave the whole universe a hope He brought and bought salvation for humanity with his own life. (Isaiah 53:1-12) The Chastisement, suffering, blood and death was really beyond anyone’s understanding except God himself. Moses made a brass serpent in the wilderness (Number 21:9) that if a serpent had bitten any man when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Look unto Jesus today for he is the very present help in time of need. He is the author and finisher of our faith but please do not look back as Lot’s wife did and turned into a pillar of salt. (Gen. 19:26)

  1. Lord Jesus, I believe your blood alone can wash me clean from all filth and sickness. So, I ask pour your blood on me and cleanse me spiritually and physically, in Jesus name.

  2. Jesus, your blood is the antidote to every bite I have suffered from the serpent. Heal me today spiritually and physically, in Jesus name.

  3. Heavenly King, may I not lose focus of you and never look back, in Jesus name.

  4. Lord Jesus, pour your blood afresh and heal my land, in Jesus name.

  5. Lord Jesus, pour your blood on our nation and draw us closer than ever, in Jesus name.
