TAP INTO THE GRACE AROUND YOU

Today’s Reading:

2Kings 4:1-7

Beloved, one of the greatest tragedies that can happen to a man is for one, at a very difficult time, to have help and helpers around him/her and yet be unable to see them. The widow came to Elisha to give him situational report about what was happening to her family after her husband’s demise. This woman came to tap into divine help through the servant of God in such a difficult time where she found herself.

Her husband, though he revered the Lord and served under a very powerful man of God, could not see this help that God has placed around him. He died a debtor, leaving troubles for his wife and children but his wife saw that help, keyed into it, and was liberated completely from the doubt. Who is the man that God has surrounded you with in times like this? Please, do not allow familiarity or pride to hinder you from seeing them as man that can help you. They may not have money to give you, but they may open your eyes to things that can bring money or the useful things you may need to weather through this period.

You may be like Moses, who got to a difficult junction in his leadership journey beside the Red Sea. He cried out to the lord, but the Lord said to Him, you already have what you need to pass on the dry ground through the Red Sea in your hand- ‘’The rod’.’ May the Lord open your eyes to the rod’ in your hand in the name of Jesus Christ. Some of the people that God has placed beside you to help you through the challenging times may be younger than you; forget about pride and cry out to them. God bless you.
