STAYING ON THE LORD’S SIDE

Today’s Reading:

Psalm 13 (Gen. 15:2)

“Job asked his wife this question, “What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” (Job 2:10)

And God said, Let there be light and there was light. And God saw the light , that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness, he called night. ( Gen.1:3-5).

So, it was God who, in his wisdom deemed it fit on the first day of creation to create day and night. In Solomon’s understanding, there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven. (Eccl. 3:1).

And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face as a man speaketh unto his friend (Exo.33:11). God does not hate, and he is not partial. God is love. If he did not withhold his only son , then, what can he not give us . His love for us cannot be overemphasised, only if we could hold on to his words like Abraham, Joseph and job, whose night were far incomparable with to either their morning or evening.

Prayer:

Please pray violently with Isaiah 41:8-14 and key into the promises of the God of Israel for as long as you can for yourself, and the nation even now in this confusing situation.

1. I speak by the authority in the name that is above other names, receive strength to hold on to the end.

2. I refuse advice from the pit of hell.

3. I shall not miss God’s divine agenda in Jesus name.
