Psalm 18:1-6
Proverbs 16:7
Psalm 18 vs3.
"I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so, shall I be saved from my enemies."
Who is an enemy? A lot of people take an enemy as a person, who does not love them, opposes them, forcefully takes what belongs to them, an antagonist, an opposer of good things in somebody's life, an evil contester, someone who never means well for another person. The above and more are correct. But the major enemy is what one represents to himself or herself. In the body of man resides, malice, unforgiveness, theft, backsliding, adultery, fornication, drunkenness, backbiting and so on. All these and more, are the real enemies of man, that we need to call on God to save us from.
Once these are settled, then the Biblical saying of when a man's way pleases the Lord, He makes his enemy to be at peace with him. The mark of touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm will be upon one. Therefore, let us do self-examination, to be able to attract God's assistance to be able to turn our enemies into His enemies. I pray the enemy shall not prevail over our lives in the name of Jesus.
