Today’s Readings:
Psalms 90:1-6
Deuteronomy 31:14 -22
Titus 1:5-16
Introduction:
Titus ministered to the Cretan people and made sure that he had completed the unfinished tasks and raised up leaders – Elders in each town so that each Church would have spiritual leadership to hold to the truth of the Gospel of Christ. Titus was given the major responsibilities by the Apostle Paul so that the Crete people would be disciplined in accordance with the sound biblical doctrine for leadership in the Church of God.
The stability of the Church depends on the leadership’s commitment to the Word of God. The orthodox doctrine teaches that what came from Christ and the apostles is the foundation that can never change. It harnessed and enabled leaders to proclaim the truth as true disciples, who stayed under Christ as the master to defend the faith with all enthusiasm and also prevent opponents from perverting and hurting the body of Christ. The disciples are willing to stand for Christ without an iota of hypocrisy and can never be detestable and disobedient to Christ’s doctrines.
Conclusion
As disciples, we must guide and guard our home, the Church of Jesus Christ from ruins of heresies, never allow it to be corrupted in this age so that we mount leadership positions in ecclesiastical order for the propagation of the Gospel.

Prayer:
LORD Jesus, please make me a sincere disciple who will be useful in your vineyard in Jesus' mighty name.
Father, help me to live in Christ and defend the Faith in this crooked and perverted generation, in Jesus' name.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, renew a right, teachable and humble spirit in me, in Jesus' name.
Father, I surrender all to You, use me to the glory of Your holy name, in Jesus' name.
May Your will be done on earth, as it is done in heaven, in Jesus' name.
