Today’s Reading:

Psalm 124; Proverbs 7:1-4; Eph. 4:7-16


The ligament between God and man is relationship as it is in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Anyone who is ready to obey and relate with God will be freed from the covering of darkness. Many evil attacks and challenges come to struggle and fight the children of God but with the good relationship between God and whoever that harnesses with Him, victory will stand as Satan would be dejected and put too shame - the protection of God is sure

Obedience to God’s commands is the fuel that harnesses this relationship. No one receives this blessing of protection if he disobeys God. The book of Proverbs sounds this note of warning – the precept of God must be treasured because it is the wisdom behind the Lord protecting his people. Anybody who fights the children of God fights God; and nobody does that and go unpunished. God incarcerates devil for his servants (children) to be effective in the work of the gospel. He suppresses the power of Satan so as to lift his children to the victory arena. Therefore, do well to serve God and never be lured to break your relationship from him.

Prayer:

  1. My God, thank You for the victory you have recorded over my life, in Christ Jesus

  2. Father, do not let challenges and the threatening of Satan capture my life, in Jesus name.

  3. My God, always give me boldness to stand for you, in Jesus name

  4. Father, cause the body of Christ, Your church, to fulfil its physical and spiritual existence, in Jesus name

  5. O God, let salvation of the gospel reach every nook and cranny of this global world, in Jesus name.
