PRAYER THAT AVAILS MUCH


 

Today’s Reading:

COLOSSIANS 4:2-5

 


Introduction :

Prayer is the Cardinal Pillar of every Christian living. It moves the hand that holds the earth with no pillar and controls the affairs of life. A man can explicitly preach with sin but cannot pray effective prayers with sin. Prayer is communication with God, directly communicating God via Jesus in all matters.


A prayer that avail much is extremely centred on Jesus, returning all glory to the Father through Jesus His Son our Lord. Bringing to the notice of the Father Almighty, acknowledging all that He has done and what He will do in big volume of appreciation. It is not a means or time of complaining, grumbling or settlement of dispute. It is vital tips for us to know that Intercessory Prayer is a command especially as an open door for the penetration of the Gospel, receiving divine utterance to speak mystery of Jesus in sequence with the Holy Spirit in nooks and crannies of earth, turning the earth from darkness to light. Interceding for unstoppable wisdom to permeate the life of the vessels sent to Minister.


In conclusion, Prayer is an evolving means of interacting with God, most frequently through a spontaneous, individual or collective, unorganized form of petitioning and or thanksgiving.

Prayer:

  1. Father, thank you for giving us Your Son Jesus Christ.

  2. The death of Jesus Christ on the Cross will not be in vain in my life and family, in Jesus name.

  3. Father grant me the corresponding Grace to stand in place of prayers for the expansion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

  4. O Lord, endue Your ministers with strength and wisdom to speak the mystery of the Gospel, in Jesus name.

  5. Father touch the heart of Your children to receive Your word, in Jesus name.

  6. O Lord, uproot everything You have not planted in Your Church, and revive Your work, in Jesus name.

  7. O Lord, visit our nation with Your mercy, save, heal and transform Your people, in Jesus name.
