Today’s Reading:
Luke 2:39-47
“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” (Luke 2:40)
Jesus Christ exhibited three things when He was growing: power, wisdom, and grace. These three things are the ministry of Jesus on earth. The first is “power”. It is only in Jesus Christ we can find power that is above all and every other power. The second is “wisdom”. The wisdom we find in Christ is the Word of God. The Bible called Him Word of God. Lastly, Jesus Christ came for our redemption and salvation which is the “grace” that we find in Him.
If you are to be complete in power, wisdom, and grace, you have to remain in Him, accept Him into your life, obey His commands, and carry your cross to follow Him. Some people are looking for other means of power (darkness), some think they can also find wisdom in letters that kill, and others are looking for grace in humans being that is not trustworthy. Repent today, move closer to Jesus and abide in Him.

Prayer:
Father Lord, help me to abide in You, in Jesus name.
Lord, You are the strength of our lives, empower us with Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
Lord, You are the wisdom of God; Endowed me with Your wisdom, in Jesus name.
Father, let your grace, mercy, and favour follow me, all the days of my life, in Jesus name.
Holy Spirit, teach me the Word of God.
