OH GOD OF RECOVERY VISIT MY LIFE

Today's Reading:

2 Kings 6:1-7

1 Samuel 30:8

2 Kings 6:6

"And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he showed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither, and the iron did swim". (2Kings 6:6)

To recover means to get back what was once yours, either forcefully taken away or through guile taken away or stolen. To recover means again to discover what is legally yours which has just been revealed to you. The revelation could come through a dream or discovery.

King David knew the essence of recovering back what was stolen by the enemy, which legally belonged to one. That is why he ran after the Amalekites who came to carry their belongings at Ziklag. Through the help of God, he recovers all without fail. I put it to you, the God who was able to recover all for them is still on the throne and He will recover back to you all the enemies has stolen from you in the name of Jesus.

For God of recovery to visit you today, repentance is not negotiable from sin, make enquiry prayers, and be up and doing, because recovery is not for lazy persons. Always be patient with people, for them not to let you offend the God of recovery.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You, I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of the Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank You, Lord”.

If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend priest or pastor.

Prayer:

  1. The mystery of the floating axe locates my life in the name of Jesus.

  2. Power to overcome the battle of men locate me now in the name of Jesus.

  3. Oh God arise and defend your interest in my life in the name of Jesus.

  4. The mystery of the floating axe locates the Christian homes in the name of Jesus.

  5. I will not lose my portion in the Lord in the name of Jesus.
