Today's Reading:
Psalm 22:19
But be not thou far from me O LORD, O my strength, haste thee to help me. (v. 19)
If there is anything anyone should desire to have as a child of God, it should be the PRESENCE OF GOD. In the presence of God dwelleth everything that can make one to succeed here on earth and in the world to come. Do you desire victory, joy, happiness success, dominion, prosperity and many more, then work towards having His presence.
In verse 11 of today’s reading - “Be not far from me: for trouble is near, for there is none to help. Beloveth, all those that did exploits for the Lord in the Bible even in this our contemporary world had His presence with them. Moses said in Exodus 33 verse 14-15 that "And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give you rest. And he said unto Him, if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” Elisha seeks His presence when he was continually asking for the Lord God of Elijah, for assistance in times of his needs. Also, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and many more, they all succeeded on the account of the presence of God in their lives. What can drive His presence away, is built on our attitude towards Him.
a) Sin, iniquities for He cannot behold iniquities;
b) Disobedience like that of king Saul. Not obeying God's instructions to kill the Amalekites utterly, compromising with the worldly standard.
To enjoy the presence of God we need to be holy; lead a righteous life; show love to others; obey God's commandments and Above all, do unto others what you would that other people should do unto you.

Prayer:
Anything in my life that is driving away the presence of God, die, in Jesus name.
Anywhere I appear darkness shall disappear, in the name of Jesus.
Oh God arise, show your mightiness in broken marriages and Christian homes, in the name of Jesus.
I receive the mandate of heaven to be victorious over sin and the world, in the name of Jesus.
Jesus Christ! Prince of Peace arise and manifest yourself in our nation, Nigeria, in the name of Jesus.
