Today's Reading:
Psalm 62:5-6
"My soul, wait thou only upon God; for thy expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defence: I shall not be moved." (vv. 5-6)
According to the Bible, in Genesis 2:7, man became a living soul. As a living soul, it shows that a lot of the characteristics and attributes of God ought to be in man. The soul of a man is the engine room that keeps a man alive. The soul of man is tripartite in nature. That is the soul is divided into three components Emotion Which is your disposition, Mind, which is your conscience and Will, which is your action. If the soul that houses all these is now being controlled or captured by the devil, then the expectations from the Lord will be cut- off in the life of such an individual. When a man's soul is captured, the person will lead a directionless life and wicked life, troubled life, no goal, moving as a living corpse, bitter life, anger, jealousy, unforgiving life etc. Therefore, as the Psalmist, let us command our souls to wait upon the Lord, to be able to receive what is ours from the Lord, for our expectations to be granted unto us.

Power for good thought locate me now in the name of Jesus
I shall excel in all aspects of my life in the name of Jesus.
