MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION

1King 16:1-7

Heaven has a record book for all the deeds of man, so also the Bible, the passage we are considering today told us the evils king Baasha did. How he conspired and murdered King Nadab and Asa (1king15:27-28), he also slayed Jeroboam and all his household which was according to the word of God through prophet Ahijah (1king 15:29).

Though the 3kings that were killed by Baasha did evil in the sight of the Lord, also ironic that God used evil king to put an end to the dynasty of some other evil kings. God does not protect an evil person even if they grow old and get to exalted position.

YOU WILL NOT BE AN INSTRUMENT FOR EVIL PURPOSE IN LIFE, IN JESUS NAME.

Judas Iscariot one of the twelve apostles (Mark 3:19) he allowed the devil to use him because of greed (John 12:5-8) but (Daniel 1:18) "... Daniel purposed in his heart that he will not defile himself..."

Every man has right to choose - Joseph, Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego all decided not to work contrary to the command of God, even in the face of adversity.

Deuteronomy 30:19 "...that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live"

Please choose life today and live.

Prayer:

1. Father, I thank you for the word of healing sent to me today, in Jesus name.

2. As I begin this day, lead me with every step I take, teach me to be pure and true, in Jesus name.

3. Help Lord, when in danger to be brave, and help me to know that only you can save, in Jesus name.

4. Lord, when I am tempted to do wrong, help me to be steadfast, wise, and strong, in Jesus name.

5. Lord, help me to press on cheerfully when my work seems hard and dry, in Jesus name. Lord Jesus, mark me, my household, and your children all over the world with your blood against the scourge of covid-19 pandemic, in Jesus name.
