Without mincing word, there is no god that can be compared with the God that created the universe. Everything that surrounds the Being of God is very unique; all his doings reveal his majesty and his countenance. His divine actions cannot be compared with terrestrial; his speeches are beyond the assertions of the worldly sage. The people of the world and the agents of the devil – the gods and their worshippers have power to destroy but have no power to bring solution to the problem of the world. But God can destroy, and he can make thing new. The majesty works of God make him different and supreme to all other spirits of darkness – the power of God is far beyond that of the devil – where God speaks Satan kept quiet and subdued, what Satan destroys God renews and makes new. All the good works and the wonderful works of God make his majesty known to the universe – throughout the world devil is known for bad things while God is known for good – whatever thing God does brings solution to the problems of the world and the people therein.
The picture of Satan/devil at times looks as if he is the real God but with careful look and observation his real identity will be known. This can be known by the people who are much closed to God – no one recognizes devil as devil if he or she does not recognize God as God. God uses any one that recognizes him and believe in him to fight and subdue the devil. Anyone who wants to be used by God must be confident in God as confronting devil needs boldness and bravery in God. Any time such a person speaks to God, God harkens to his voice. He honours the word of request that comes from a representative of God. Therefore, it is good and enjoyable to be at the Lord side to silent all the manifestation of Satan.
OLOYEDE, SUNDAY OYEDELE
Prayer:
The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart, I will tell of all Your marvellous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You, I will sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
God, work over my life that I may know You the more, in Jesus name.
God, give me confidence to confront and silent Satan and the work of his hands, in Jesus name.
God, let the people know You through me, in Jesus name.
God, perform Your wonderful work in this global world and use me as your instrument, in Jesus name.
God do not allow the devil to subdue and kill Your Spirit in me, in Jesus name.
