John 14:25-26
The disciples were twelve altogether on a particular day, and there was a dispute amongst them on the desire of whom should be the greatest (Mark 9:34). The mother of Zebedee’s sons came to negotiate her desire for her children before their Master because she wants a position of importance for her children not minding the consequences. Also, after the miraculous feeding of the five thousand (Matthew 14:13, Mark 6:30, Luke 9:10), and (John (6:1), and four thousand (Matthew 15:32, Mark 8:1), Jesus followers sought to make him their king and to be around him more for free food.
Judas Iscariot wanted to make more money and actually sold Jesus, while Peter denied knowing or ever having anything to do with him and so many more.
But praise God for the release of the Helper and Comforter: the Holy Spirit to us. No matter how much a man can claim to love, it will definitely be for selfish purpose. The topic for today says, “Love more and tend the Sheep.” It was coined out of Jesus’ discussion with Peter after his resurrection and appearance to the disciples. It could be easy for us to talk about how Peter and Judas Iscariot denied Jesus Christ after which Peter went back to his former profession - fishing and Jesus came to tell him he Jesus would make Peter, fisher of men, Jesus later came to help him.
“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Cor. 13:13). The Holy Spirit is the only convicter of the truth for the purpose of repentance and godly living. Say, “I enter into the grace and privilege given to Peter through which he was reconciled back into your presence in Jesus name.
I receive Power and grace, and the love to tend more sheep for God’s kingdom in Jesus name. Choose any worship song to tell Him you love Him.

Prayer:
1. Holy Spirit the helper, comforter and teacher help me in all I do to glory of your Holy Name.
Holy Spirit the teacher, teach me in all I do to glory of your holy name, in Jesus name.
Your easy yoke and the light burden will help me and comfort me through my journey, in Jesus name.
As you use all the disciples and walked with them to the end, Spirit of the living God, walk with me to the end of age, in Jesus name.
May none of those in the seat of authority find peace in sin; reconcile them and give them hope of eternal life, in Jesus name.
