LET THY MERCIES COME ALSO UNTO ME

Today's Reading:

Psalm 119:41

"Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word".

(Psalm 119:41)

One of the most constant attributes of God is mercy. The mercy of God avails for all, especially for those that are of God. The mercy of God is the unmerited favour of God, that speaks for the voiceless, gives strength to the powerless, that endureth forever.

Anyone with the mercy of God, will always deviate from evil. It is no wonder the Bible says in Hosea10 vs 12:"Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy"........ Because of the benefits that are attached to the mercy of God, every child of God will always like to go after righteousness. The mercy of God is what made the people of old to triumph and be the children of God.

Mercy of God can be multifaceted. According to Psalm136 Vs 1- 26, we discover that as it was destroying the enemies of the children of God in one hand, so also was it saving the Israelites. The same way it destroyed evil kings, gave their lands for their possession, the same mercy of God prevails over the judgement of the wicked. For believers to qualify for the mercy of God we always need to be obedient to the will of God and in all seasons.

I pray that the mercy of God shall be enough for us all in the name of Jesus.
