Today’s Reading:
Psalm 43

Psalm 43 is a desperate cry for help from God in situations that we find ourselves today. It is becoming increasingly challenging to live righteously in these times that we live in. We are assailed on a daily basis with issues of immorality, hunger in the land, meeting your daily expenses for the family. There are voices speaking to you to compromise a little in order to meet up. There are voices of discouragement and fear trying to make you lose your faith in God.
In all these, it seems as if God has gone on vacation concerning your case. You are discouraged and in despair and do not know what to do. Psalm 121:1-2, encourages us to look up to God. It is at such a time as this that we need to hold tightly to God. Nothing takes God by surprise. The situation that you find yourself, God knows about it. In fact, He is speaking to you now, but you do not hear. Do not allow the problems around you to be-cloud your hearing. Help is just around the corner, listen to that still inner voice, you will hear Him speaking to you. Do not be discouraged. You are just on the verge of a major breakthrough. The voice of discouragement you are hearing is just the enemy's last-ditch attempt to stop your blessings.
VICTOR ABASSAH
Prayers:
Father forgive me for not trusting you enough in the name of Jesus.
O God help me in my areas of weakness in the name of Jesus.
I silence, every voice of fear and discouragement in the name of Jesus.
Powers that do not want to let me go, die in the name of Jesus.
O God, speak encouragement to your church in the name of Jesus.
O God, speak healing to this nation in the name of Jesus.
