Today’s Reading:
John 12:1-11
“Then Jesus six days before the Passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2)There they made him a supper, and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 3)Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4)Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him. 5)Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6)This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. 7)Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying had she kept this. 8)For the poor always you have with you, but me ye have not always. 9)Much people of the Jews, therefore, knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also whom he had raised from the dead. 10)But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; 11)Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away and believed on Jesus.” (John 12:1-11 AKJV)
It is apparently clear that many people want good things for themselves which they have not deserved or qualified for. So, they use their influence, power, position, and status to snatch the good things from others to themselves only for their own self-benefit.
Some people can use whatever things they have - that belongs to them to bring glory to the body of Christ while some people would want those good things to be theirs.
They conceive no good to the body of Christ (Fellowship of Christian);
They are covetous v5;
They do not give out but only to receive;
They are pretenders v6; and
They desire to spoil what has been made good vv 9- 10.
They serve as a hindrance to other believers v11 Judas Iscariot asserted what seems good with bad conception. Mary conceived good and demonstrated good to gain a good record for herself. Pray that God should ordain you to do good that will linger forever.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul, in Jesus name.
Father, flame your fire of revival in me and my household, in Jesus name.
Father, create in me a pure heart, renew a right and teachable spirit in me, in Jesus name.
Every spirit of prayerlessness, powerlessness, discouragement, and vainglory in the body of Christ, be bound, in Jesus name.
All forces of darkness hindering the move of God in our nation, be rendered impotent, in Jesus name.
