Today's Reading:

Psalm 39:1-13; Job28:12-28

Beloveth, in life trouble, abounds, but it is only God that can save. For a believer to be able to survive in this world, he or she needs to be confident in the Lord. Trouble is when things go against one's wishes, difficult situations, bad and unfriendly situations and so on. The psalmist knows that trouble abound everywhere, and the major cause is a sin or, the wicked’s attack. That is why he said, “I will take heed to my ways that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.”

At a time like this, you need to wait on the Lord, because as a believer your hope is in Him. At a time of trouble, you need to do away with all forms of transgressions so as not to be reproached by the foolish.

Believers, we need to operate in the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. Again, in the time of trouble, we need to pray, so that you are not engulfed by the trouble.
