Today’s Reading:
Exodus 3
“Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. And he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.” (v. 2)

A word is a medium by which thoughts are expressed, and the application of the term to the Eternal Son leads us to believe that self-expression is inherent in the Godhead, that God is forever seeking to speak Himself out to His creation. The whole Bible supports the idea. God spoke and God is still speaking. He is by His nature continuously articulate. He fills the world with His speaking Voice. The bible says once has he spoken, twice have I heard Him that power belongs to the Lord. It is disastrous as a child of God to embark on the journey of destiny without consulting God. Though so many Christians are still struggling with the voice they heard whether it is of God or not. Some even said God is silent about a particular case but one thing that is sure is that whether He is silent or not, God is saying something. It requires sensitivity to His voice. Some find it difficult because they want to hear him only when they are at a crossroads and that may be difficult. It requires constant fellowship with God to recognize his voice and that is the price to be paid.
God speaks in diverse ways to his children, and He alone decides how he will speak, we are not to dictate to him how we want to hear his voice though there is a permissive will that may not be all the time. Some of the ways God speaks include the following:
