Today’s Reading:
Psalm 139:1-6
"O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knows my down sitting and mine uprising, thou understand my thought afar off. Thou compasses my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knows it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me: it is high, I cannot attain unto It." (Psalm 139:1-6)
If in this world there is anything one should clamour about, it should be for God to know one as a believer. And that God should know those who are His. No wonder the Bible says that the Lord knows those who are His. In the same vein, Jesus said, "I know my sheep and my sheep they know me and another voice they will not follow". Jesus one day when He had performed miracles during the Passover feast, in John 2:24-25, the Bible says "But Jesus did not commit Himself unto them because He knew all men. And needed not that any should testify of man, for He knew what was in man".
The testimony and recognition of God on one could be positive or negative. To Job it was positive, even David too, but to Saul and Eli the priest, the reverse was the story. If God should know your down sitting and uprising for good, it means everywhere you go, you will attract His favour, joy, mercy, victory, success, guidance, protection, direction etc. And the reverse is the case if He does not know you. Therefore, let us try and work ourselves to the point where God will recognise and be able to testify about us as His. Let us make holiness, obedience to God's commandments and righteousness our watch words before taken any action, so that we can remain His forever.

Prayer:
Anything in my life that is taking the place of God, come out and die, in Jesus name.
Power challenging God in my life die, in the name of Jesus.
Power for holy living fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
When the trumpet shall sound, I shall not be found wanting, in the name of Jesus.
Glory of the Living God overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.
