Isaiah 38:1-7
Acts10:1-4;
Psalm 84:11
"For the LORD God is a Sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." (Psalm 84:11 KJV)
More often than not, the situation with our God is that He is a promise keeper, who keeps records of all He has created. After salvation what is next for a genuine believer is consecration and sanctification.
A king was told in the Bible (Hezekiah (Isaiah 38:1-7) to put His house for death was coming to him. But after the prophet gave the message and left, the king turned his face to the wall and presented his case before the Lord, who later converted his imminent death to longevity of life. Likewise, Cornelius whose acts of almsgiving were remembered by God (Acts10:1-4) and members of his household were saved. Those acts expressed the doings of God of not withholding good things from those who walked uprightly.
Do you want victory over the work of the enemy? Be it blessing, healing, promotion, or even making heaven at last. Uprightness is a must. Be consistent with the biblical precepts and commandments of God and no good thing shall He withhold from you in Jesus’ name.
