Today’s Reading:
Psalm 63:1-8; Daniel 3:19-30; Revelation 2:8-11
“Many times, when we are faced with trials and temptations, we think God has forgotten us, at times we think the problem has gotten too bad or far for God's intervention, while some other times, we feel it's impossible for us to come out from the challenges of life we are faced with. Shedrack, Meshack and Abednego were faced with similar scary and painful experience, but they told the king that they will never bow down to his idol, they never succumbed to fear but believed in their God and told the king that they will not bow whether or not their God saves them and of course God did not fail them. In that unseemly painful and unhealthy challenges, know that God never leaves nor forsake his own. He will come through for you when you least expected Him and More so, you will have an exceedingly great reward in heaven for enduring such trials, tribulations, challenges that didn't lead to your going astray on earth.” (Rev 2:8-11)
Believers should note that:
Trials, temptation, and tribulations are a part of the Christian race here on earth and we must have to go through them (Rev 2:8-11)
The trails, temptation God allow into our lives are usually not bigger than our capabilities and we have to explore our inner strength in overcoming these challenges (1Cor 10:13)
God sees us when we go through the challenges of life e and like Job, He keeps watching to see if we will explore the inner strength, He has given us ( Proverbs 24:10, Job 1-End)
God never leaves or forsake His children when they go through trials, temptations, tribulations and all the pains of this world that besets them. (Deu. 31:8, Psalm 55:22, Hebrew 4:16)
What believers should do when faced with challenges, trials and tribulations:
Just like the Psalmist, though painful and stressful, we should never neglect the place of worship and praise to God even in the face of challenges (Psalm 63:1-8).
Believers should know that God rewards those who diligently seek Him and never get tired of praying to Him for without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrew 11:6)
Believers should keep holding on to God irrespective of how daring the challenges might be (Psalm 63:8).
