Today’s Reading:

Psalm 138

“I will worship toward thy holy temple and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth, for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”

What an amazing privilege to have to enter boldly into God’s presence. Scripture says we can come to his throne of grace and receive his mercy because he loves us. He has given us unlimited access to himself, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year but God does not expect us to come to the king of kings and the Lord of lords anyhow. What do we have that is worthy of Almighty God? Our praise, our thanksgiving, or our worship? We are to enter his temple with an offering from our hearts of adoration because he is worthy.

Praise is not just about singing on Sunday morning; praise is the expression of gratefulness to God the Father for who He is and all that He has done. Praise attracts God’s attention. Praise is a powerful tool in the life of the believer because God demands our praises. When we enter His presence the right way, then He enters our circumstance; when God shows up, the enemy must flee. Today enter into His gates with thanksgiving and open the door for Him to move on your behalf.

  1. Father, thank you for I know that you are good and your mercy endures forever.

  2. Father, have Your way in me by the power of Your Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

  3. Father, accept my praise and thanksgiving in Jesus name.

  4. O Lord, do not permit confusion in Christian homes, in Jesus name.

  5. O Lord, let peace and harmony reign in our nation, in Jesus name.
