ENTER HIS PRESENCE WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Today’s reading:

Psalm: 138

“I will worship toward thy holy temple and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (v. 2 AKJV)

What an amazing privilege we have to enter boldly into God’s presence. The Scripture says we an come to His throne of grace and receive His mercy, because He loves us. He has given us unlimited access to Himself, twenty-four hours in a day, seven days in a week, 365 days in a year. However, God does not expect us to come to the King of kings and the Lord of lords disorderly.

What do we have that is worthy of Almighty God? Our praise, our thanksgiving or our worship. We are to enter His temple with offerings from our hearts of adoration because He is worthy.

Praise is not just about singing on Sundays in Church services; praise is the expression of gratefulness to the Father for who He is and all that He has done. Praise gets God’s attention. It is also a powerful tool in the life of the believer because God demands our praises. When we enter His presence the right way, then He enters our circumstances and the enemy must flee.

Today let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving and open the door for Him to move on our Behalf.
