What is the ten commandments? It is a roadmap to a loving relationship with God and neighbour. They are as follows:
Love God alone (abandon idolatry).
Worship God and call on Him in prayer (Do not blaspheme).
Sunday is for worship and rest.
Honour your parents.
Preserve the dignity of others (don’t destroy their good name).
Respect people’s bodies as God’s temple (do not desecrate it through sexual sins).
Respect people’s belonging (don’t keep what is not yours).
Tell the truth always (don’t make a habit of lying).
Wish others well (don’t be envious of what they have).
Celebrate God’s goodness in other people’s lives (Good things will come your way).
God’s commandment is not just a list of things to do or not do. It is an invitation to enter a special relationship with God. Jesus was faithful to it by recognizing that God dwells in Him as in a temple. Faithfulness to God’s commands preserved this Divine presence and made Jesus, "The power and wisdom of God"; a sign and source of faith and healing for others.
You are called to do your daily duties differently. God is calling you to faithfulness by seeing that everything you do each day is an opportunity to be a living sign of Jesus’ risen presence in every circumstance of life. Ultimately, you are to offer up the temple of your body by dying to self (the self - doing only what pleases you). In this way, we share in the new life God offers us. Our daily rising is to keep our sight on God, conform ourselves more perfectly to Christ and see God in others.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud: Father, thank you for Jesus Christ. Forgive my sins, take control of my heart and lead me in your righteous path by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest.
Prayer:
May God grant you grace to be more intentional about your relationships with Him and everyone in your life and so receive His blessings in abundance. Amen.
Give us grace to do things differently today and enjoy your abundant grace always through Christ our Lord. Amen.
