Today’s Reading:

Psalm 103: 1-22

“Bless the Lord, o my soul and do not forget all His benefits.” (Psalm 103:2)

Who is an Ingrate?

  1. An ingrate forgets all God’s benefit and goodness

  2. He trivializes what God has done

  3. He never sees reasons to thank God

  4. He complains all the time

  5. He always sees God as being partial

  6. An ingrate never sees reasons to share his testimonies

  7. An ingrate always makes comparison

  8. An ingrate never thanks people or God for little things

  9. An ingrate boasts of his achievement as if it is gotten by his power

  10. An ingrate always focuses on what God has not done and forgets what he never asks for that God did

  11. An ingrate never thinks deeply to count God’s blessings

  12. An ingrate never sees those that he/she is better than but always sees and envies those who are better than him/her

  13. An ingrate expects everything to be his but never gives

  14. An ingrate never increases his giving even when he/she has more

  15. An ingrate always sees everything he has as a right and not a privilege

  16. An ingrate sees good things but disdains them because they don’t belong to him or her

  17. An ingrate always wants praise from people but never gives praise to others

You must understand that no matter your present predicament you are still better than someone.

That thing you didn’t appreciate, someone somewhere is praying to God for it. As long as you are alive you have many reasons to thank God. Even if you are on a sick bed or the doctor has declared your situation as irreparable, as long as there is life there is hope. Your case is not the worst, look inward and start singing praises to God, for your miracle is on the way.

HALLELUYAH!

JAMES ALADE

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”

If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest.

Prayer:

  1. Take a song of praise and sing unto the Lord for His faithfulness

  2. Oh Lord may you always enlighten my heart to see reasons to praise you no matter my circumstances

  3. Grant me the garment of praise in Jesus’ name

  4. Declare it, there’s hope for me therefore I thank God for He will do what no man can do in Jesus’ name.
