Today’s Reading:
Psalm 46: 1 – 11

We access divine help when we pray. It does not matter how strong you are, there will be a time that you will need God’s help. It may be in your job, at school or in restoring a broken relationship at such times. God will come to your aid when you ask Him.
However, many times I have realized that even when we do not ask, God still helps us. What a good God He is? Daily His mercies flow down to us so that we do not become weary, but how good and encouraging it will be if we make a habit of asking Him then see Him answering us. God told Paul when he became weary, my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Cor. 12: 9). Having experienced God’s help and deliverance several times, as he ran from King Saul, David came to a point and he declared “ God is our refuge and strength A very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46: 1).
Maybe you have not been observant to see how many times God has helped us in the past too. Begin today to keep a record of God’s wonders in your life. You will be surprised how often He breaks into your life to help you.
Shalom.
