If you share my daily reflections with your friends and family, I want to use this opportunity to thank you so much. It takes courage to share God’s word where there is so much content to consume daily. You need to have drawn some level of insight, joy and hope from it that you want to share the same with those you love. This is a difficult task because in my 18 years of writing and sharing God’s Word, I know that some people fear that their contacts may not receive it well, since it gives a “holier-than-thou” vibe. And if you refuse to share, you wonder if you are doing something wrong or ashamed of the Gospel.
Saint Bartholomew (also called “Nathaniel”) would not have met Christ (and probably never be an Apostle) if Philip had not introduced him. Philip said, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, the one about whom the prophets wrote: he is Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth’ (John 1:45). Bartholomew retorted, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” We fear a similar reply; we fear rejection from our contacts when we share God’s word with them: will they accept it? Will they judge me? If you never share, you will never know the outcome.
If you share God’s word with others, you will:
Deliver God’s consolation to those who are hurting.
Provide answers to questions some people never voice out.
Heal someone’s hurt.
Allay someone’s fear.
Restore someone’s faith and hope.
Rekindle someone’s dying love.
Give yourself a sense of responsibility for others.
Derive a sense of purpose.
Attract God’s blessings and favour.
Have a special place and reward in heaven.
I can go on and on…
Never resist the urge to share God’s word with others (it is not from God). God sees your struggle and He still want to use you as His instrument of faith and hope.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord.”
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest.
Prayer:
Lord, make me a channel of your Word.
Lord, give me courage to spread Christian values.
Lord, deepen my confidence in You.
Lord, quench my spiritual thirst with Your Word.
Lord, let someone confess faith in You through me.
Lord, let all my labour for love of others merit me an eternal reward. Amen.
Lord, Your name and Your fame extend through all the world and from generation to generation. Help us to see that we shine only in the light of Your glory and truth.
May God fill your heart with the joy that you give others by sharing His Word with them.
