Today’s Reading:
Luke 11:5-13
To be persistent is to be incessant or unrelenting, it means to continue, despite the problem or difficulty faced. Jesus encouraged us to be persistent in prayer because it is one of the keys to having a breakthrough in life.
Several times, we pray and do not receive answers because we give up too soon. This is not the season to give up. This is the season to pray and continue to pray until God responds to our request. It is the season to engage in operation ‘PUSH’ praying until something happens”. It is time to tell God: ‘Father, I stand where you stand, and I believe that it shall be according to what you have told me.’ It is time to tell Satan: “I am not afraid of you because Greater is HE that is in me, then you and your hosts. I serve the Living God and if God is for me, nobody can be against me”- PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!
Declare This: - “for the Lord God will help me; therefore, I will not be disgraced, I will not be ashamed” (Isaiah 50:7)
