Today’s Reading:
1Timothy 1:1-2,12-14 & Romans 8:29-30
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30)Moreover, whom he did predesignate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30 KJV)
This is Apostle Paul admonishing his son in faith in the person of Timothy. In the above passage, Paul tried to paint a picture of who he was before Christ Jesus met him for Timothy to see and for him to understand that God is the owner of the work, only He recruits workers into His vineyard. For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. (Matthew 20:1-2 KJV)
Then when, purpose, time and type of instruments needed is solely determined by no one else and who can advise or counsel Him on what to do or and how to do it. And I thank Christ Jesus for our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. (1 Timothy 1:12-13 KJV). Again, and he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (Ephesians 4:11 KJV). Also, and the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. (Exodus 4:11-12 KJV)
It really does not matter who you are:
1. Moses was a stern Stammerer.
2. Joseph was a dreamer.
3. Queen Esther was an orphan.
You see heart is key, Abraham a son to an idol worshipper, Gideon a son of a prostitute, it really does not matter how you started or where you started from, who your father and mother were or what sin they have committed.
And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitic damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab: (Ruth 2:6 KJV). He can turn around all hopeless situations, has He called you? As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. (Acts 13:2 KJV). Even Paul a murderer of brethren became an apostle, may heaven overlook your past errors and give you grace, power and knowledge to break out of the illusion and tricks of the enemy, the accuser of brethren today. Please looking unto Jesus the author and finisher today to help you and may you not be pulled back by the attraction of this world, but his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26 KJV). And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (Luke 9:62 KJV)
Can you begin to appreciate God for counting you Faithful in committing issues of the kingdom unto you, worship Him for He is too faithful to fail you?

Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for life, good health, sound mind, and all I have been blessed with, in Jesus name.
Ask God for mercy in every way possible that you have frustrated his work as Paul did in time past, in prayerlessness, complacency and Lukewarmness, in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of how I have started help me to finish well and strong, in Jesus name.
Ask for strength to pray, insight by the help of the holy spirit not to compromise or look back, to remain faithful to the caller and calling, that I will overcome any form of distractions, situations and circumstances as Paul did even in this time and age, in Jesus name.
