AVOID MARKS OF INIQUITY

Today's Readings:

Psalm 130:3

2Corithians13:5

"If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” (Psalm 130:3 NKJV)

Iniquity is a deviation from what is right, gross injustice, wickedness, wrongful acts, absence of moral or spiritual value, lawlessness, inconsistency to norms and so on. When a man commits sin now, asks for forgiveness, is forgiven and next goes to commits such sin again, it has become Iniquity. If sin like fornication, adultery, stealing, lying and so on, have become the order of the day, then such life is under iniquity. Therefore, according to 2Corithians 13:5 "Beloved Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobate? “

The consequences of the mark of iniquity is enormous ranging from rejection, separation from God, attack by the enemy for lack of divine protection; second death which is total separation from God. Therefore, to be able to enjoy good relationship with God, let us examine our lives every day and realign ourselves to God's standard of holiness and righteousness. I pray the Lord Himself, will qualify us by His Great grace to be in right standing with Him in the name of Jesus.

7. Power of holy living locate us afresh in the name of Jesus.
