Acts 9:26-31
Psalm 22:26-28,30-32
1 John 3:18-24
John 15:1-8

What is the worst sin that a person can commit? The worst sin that a person can commit is the sin that you create excuses for—in fact, it is deadly. Today, Jesus reminds us that we are attached to him as a branch of a vine tree. He is the source of our life and nourishment. He trims off any wild branches in us so that we look beautiful and are more fruitful. Anything in us that is not in keeping with His plan for our lives is cut off since it drains us of “spiritual juice”. The energy that we draw from Him ought to be used to strengthen our love for Him, and our hatred for sin and serve our brothers and sisters.
Today, commit to remain attached to Christ the True Vine by:
Having a structured prayer life.
Carrying out a daily examination of conscience.
Study the Scriptures daily.
Confess your sin and seek counselling regularly.
Take Communion regularly
Reconcile with anyone who has something against you.
Join a pious society in your parish and contribute to its growth.
Support Church projects and the ministry of your ministers.
Pray and share meals with your family.
Be faithful to your state of life (single, married or consecrated).
Have a disciplined and excellent work ethic.
Practice punctuality and dedication to duty.
Enrich every relationship with your insights and contributions.
Flee from evil associations and friendships.
Relate with people based on your shared values and ideas more than your ethnic or political background.
By remaining in Christ, you will never fall away from grace and God will grant your good heart’s desires, according to His riches in glory, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

To surrender your life to Christ, say this prayer aloud. “Father, I acknowledge my sin against You. I repent and ask for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, take control of my heart and lead me in Your path of righteousness. Thank you, Lord”.
If you said the prayer, Congratulations! Prayerfully look for a living church and report to the resident reverend, pastor or priest.
Prayer:
May God's grace flowing through your connection to Him, free you from ever pain, sin and regret and fill you with righteousness, peace, joy and enduring favour in Jesus' name.
Lord, I am your servant. Help me to give a good account of myself all the time. Use me for your mighty works and never let me submit to the works of darkness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
