Psalm 138 vs 1-8
Truthfulness is an act or quality of being truthful. Truth has to do with being Fidel and exact in one’s dealings with fellow human beings. Another name for truthfulness is faithfulness. Our God is the founder of faithfulness who keeps His promises at all times to His children who are always doing His will. It was part of His faithfulness to His children that made Him visit Abraham, commanded him to leave his father's land, his kindred to where He would show him. Abraham was obedient to the instructions of God and in His faithfulness, He made him the father of many nations and even made a declaration about him in Gen.18:17-18:" And the LORD said shall I hide from Abraham that thing I do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed by him.
This truthfulness of God extends from generation to generation. Hence the psalmist in appreciating the LORD in psalm138:1-2 he said "I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. I will worship towards Thy holy temple and praise Thy name for Thy loving kindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name. The truthfulness of GOD is built up in His word which He honours more than His name. The truthfulness of GOD to children of men is everlasting.
Every child of God is qualified to enjoy the truthfulness of God by being obedient to His words, having unshakable faith in Him, praising Him, doing good at all times and loving others as we love ourselves. By these Christian qualities more, we will enjoy answers to our prayers, strength for our souls, safety from the wrath of the enemies and above all perfection on all that concerns us. Therefore, let us endeavour to be truthful to ourselves in perfect obedience to God so that our appreciation of His truthfulness can be acceptable by Him.

I shall sing my song and dance my dance to the faithfulness of the LORD in the name of Jesus.
Oh God arise and let your wrath fall upon the enemy of my joy in the name of Jesus.
Father, let Your perfect will be made manifest in my life, in the name of Jesus.
